Born on February 7 1950 in Chatham Virginia she was the daughter of the late Voil and Willie Martin Whitehead. Mrs. Anderson was raised with the values of hard work and family devotion that shaped her life. She began her professional career at Klopman Mills in Altavista Virginia before continuing her career at the Internal Revenue Service in Richmond Virginia. Her dedication and reliability left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends until her retirement. Bernidas greatest joy came from caring for her family. She leaves behind her devoted husband Larry B. GretnaSusan Blair Anderson age 80 of Gretna passed away Wednesday February 11 2026 at her residence. Born July 25 1945 in Pittsylvania County she was a daughter of the late Garry Wyatt Blair Sr. and Lena DeBoe Blair. She was predeceased by two brothers Barry Blair and John Blair and one sister Dianne Gates. Mrs. Anderson was a home maker a member of Green Bay Christian Church and volunteered for many nonprofit organizations within the community. She loved animals and children and was a beloved wife mother and grandmother to her family.
