Mrs. Maria Paz Riel Lares passed from this life Saturday morning February 7 2026 in Dickinson. Born May 19 1947 in Maragondon Philippines Maria was a devoted member of St. Marys of the Expectation Catholic Church where her faith was an important part of her daily life. She found great joy in quilting crocheting and sewingcrafting not only beautiful pieces but lasting memories for those she loved. A truly fabulous cook she expressed her love through her kitchen where family and friends were always welcomed with warmth laughter and a delicious meal. She was preceded in death by her parents Mariano C. and Bernardina Narvaez Riel sisters Zenaida Narvaez Riel and Mary Milady Narvaez Riel.
