Karen Eargle Sharpe passed away Thursday February 12 2026. She was brave and resilient during a succession of heath battles and events. Karen graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1975 retired from the University of South Carolina and was a long term Gamecock football season ticket holder. She was predeceased by her parents Eunice Weaver Eargle and F. E. Eargle and her soulmate Claude N. Shealy. Survivors include her beloved dog Tadpole daughter Stacy DeAnn Eddings Kenneth Scott granddaughter Kennedy Elizabeth Eddings brother Wayne D. Eargle Nelle niece Allison H. Eargle nephew David W. Eargle Larissa grandnephews Lucas Owen and Evan brother Charles W. Eargle Carolyn nephew Jonathan Petie Eargle Jenna grandnephews Hunter and Austin Courtney and great grandnephew Nolan. Funeral service will be held 200 p.m. Tuesday February 17 2026 at Rehoboth Methodist Church of Lake Murray. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive…
