John D. Ryder 82 of Trout Run passed away on Tuesday February 11 2026 at the Williamsport Home with his loving wife Judith Remaley Ryder by his side. Born September 28 1943 in Huntingdon he was a son of the late Samuel H. and Marian Betty Shenefelt Ryder. John graduated from Juniata Valley High School in 1961 and went on to take some college classes at Penn State University. It was here that he met his future wife Judith and their love story began. They were married on January 9 1962 and shared 64 wonderful years together. John served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as the manager of manufacturing at the former AVCO now Lycoming Engines where he spent over thirty years. He was also a proud member of White Pine United Methodist Church.
