John Karich age 84 of Brooklyn Heights OH passed away on Tuesday January 20th 2026 surrounded by family. Beloved husband to the late Gloria Karich Smith. He is survived by daughter Holly Ponomarenko stepdaughters Denise Bamber Bill Colleen West the late Jerry West grandchildren Samantha and Alexandra Ponomarenko Ryan Allen Kristen Bamber Mike McTighe great grandchildren Ella Cason Brogan Lochlan Briar and Zealand. Preceded in death by his brother Michael Karich and parents John and Mary Karich. A burial service with military honors will be held on Friday February 20th 2026 at 1245 pm at the Ohio National Western Reserve Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Road Seville Ohio 44273.
