Doris Cobb Horton 91 beloved wife mother sister and aunt departed this life on February 11 2026 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband John Wesley Horton her beloved son Gary Bradford Horton her parents Silas Everette and Ida Owens Cobb and her eight siblings Lillie Mae Phillips Everett Cobb Mary Elizabeth Silas Jr. Agnes Stokes Randolph Cobb Aldine Hedgepeth and Edna Horton. She is survived by twentyone nieces and nephews of the Cobb and Horton families. The family would like to express their gratitude to Carolyn Ward for the exceptional care she and her team provided Doris. Special thanks also goes to Darlene Staton who has served as a dedicated caregiver for Doris for more than a year.
