Janet Frances MacDonald Dillon Passed away Wednesday February 11 2026 in Wilmington NC following a long battle with Parkinsons Disease. She was born and raised in Naugatuck CT a UniRoyal factory town. She was a Girl Scout for many years and at the age of 16 she and 12 other scouts and 3 very dedicated leaders bought a bus and camped around the US for 6 weeks making Disney Land their main goal. A wonderful experience that fostered her lifelong interest in travel. She graduated from Waterbury Hospital School of Radiology and moved to New York City where her first job was at Lenox Hill Hospital and from there moved on to Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Research Hospital. Born in Philadelphia PA on December 19 1944 to William and Concetta Pinciotti Formica Joyce grew up in the home her father built on Lawndale Ave. in Northeast Philadelphia. She became a loving wife mother grandmother sister aunt and cousin whose world revolved around her family. Joyce was predeceased by her devoted husband Bernard Bernie Maguire in 2023. They were married on May 8 1965 and were a shining example of a true partnership in faith love and companionship.
