His life will be celebrated during a Funeral Service at 2 PM Sunday February 15 2026 at Mt. Zion BaptistChurch in Apex NC. Burial will follow in the Churchs Cemetery. There will be a familypublic walk through viewing from 56 PM Saturday February 14 2026 at Cutchins Family Mortuary Cremations in Franklinton NC. Mr. Powell will lay in quiet repose for one hour prior to the funeral beginning at 1 PM. Please keep his family in your hearts and prayers.
