A.C. lived in Saline County most of his life and in his younger years enjoyed working on farms. He worked at A P Grocery Store for several years and then spent the vast majority of his work life as an over the road truck driver. On November 26 1952 she married Fred W. Shaffer who preceded her in death on December 29 2014. They moved to Marshall in 1953 where she worked and retired from Continental Baking Company as their office manager. After her retirement she worked at Holiday Lanes in Marshall for many years.
