Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at New Site Baptist Church with Reverend Garrett Maxey officiating. Interment will follow at Spring River Cemetery, Verona. The family invites friends for a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church. Memorial contributions have been suggested to Haven of the Ozarks or Main Street (Memo-Dog Park). Arrangements are under the personal care of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.

Nelda M. Fritz, 96, of Monett, passed away on February 12, 2026, while in the loving hands of Compassus Hospice and many caring employees of Oak Pointe Monett, who in the early years she was teaching to speak German. Nelda will be remembered there for her loving smile and her always “I love you”, her final mission from God. She was sustained for her sixty-four month stay by countless visits from her Pastor, visiting ministries, clergy and family.She was born on August 12, 1929, in Freistatt, MO, the daughter of the late Max and Caroline (Schoen) Krueger. She grew up in the faith of Trinity Lutheran School and Church in Freistatt, a member of the Ladies Aid and Choir. Benjamin T. "Ben" Perrin 73 of Topeka passed away on Tuesday February 10 2026. He was born June 14 1952 in Amery Wisconsin the son of Richard E. and Eleanor E. Marschall Perrin. Ben graduated from High School in the Philippines. He served in the U.S. Army as a cook and then as a firefighter. His career spanned 21 years 11 months and 18 days before retiring with a rank of SP4. He later retired from the USDA following 10 years of employment. He was a member of the American Legion Capitol Post 1. Ben married Debra Deb Heston on February 9 2015 in Cassville Missouri. She survives. Other survivors include his mother Eleanor Perrin and his siblings Robert Juliet Perrin and Pattee Gary Stensgaard all of Cheyenne Wyoming. Also surviving are his brotherin laws Kenneth Sue Heston Purdy Missouri Paul Heston Exeter Missouri and sisterinlaw Cindy Heston Jenkins Missouri.…
