SWANSEAMargaret Marge Lafleur 79 passed away on February 10 2026 after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of Brain A. Lafleur with whom she shared 43 years of marriage. Marge was born in Fall River and was the daughter of the late Manuel Medeiros and Theresa Moniz Medeiros. Marge was a graduate of Westport High School and a longtime resident of Swansea. She was employed for many years at Deknatel and Quaker Fabrics in Fall River until her retirement. Marge enjoyed camping with her family in her younger years and taking trips to New Hampshire. She was an avid and talented sewer and had a lifelong passion for animals. Most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family especially her grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband are her son Brian and his wife Rachael of Rehoboth and her beloved grandchildren Lily and Colton siblings…

Sandra Lee Johnson Affonso 73 of Tiverton wife of Albert Affonso passed away on Wednesday February 11 2026 at Dawn Hill Rehab and Healthcare Bristol RI. Born in Washington DC the only child of the late Lowell Johnson and the late Alfreda Plaza Johnson she lived in the New Bedford area most of her life and resided in Tiverton for the past 16 years. She was educated in the New Bedford School System and received an associates degree in accounting from KenyonCampbell. Prior to her retirement she worked for 32 years in various capacities with the local utility company. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter Stacy Medeiros husband Marc of Rehoboth a son Brian Padelford wife Cheryl of New Bedford grandson Corey Medeiros and granddaughters Violet and Elisa Padelford.
