William Bill Thomas Harris passed away peacefully at his home in Vicksburg on the morning of February 10 2026 with his beloved wife by his side. A lifelong resident of Vicksburg Mississippi Bill attended Cooper High School before graduating from Ole Miss. He proudly served as a member of the U.S. Army National Guard. Known for his largerthanlife personality Bill made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a devoted man of faith and found great joy in the outdoors. Bill was a respected businessman and real estate developer who took great pride in his work throughout Vicksburg and Warren County. Bill is survived by his wife of 25 years April Christian Harris and his four children Thomas Vaughn William Benjamin Mark Christopher and Christian Josephine. James D. Kirkley passed away on Tuesday February 10 2026. He was 76 years old. James was born in Vicksburg MS on October 21 1951. He is preceded in death by his parents A. J. and June Jeter Kirkley a brother David Kirkley and his son Justin D. Kirkley. James was well known throughout his life as Buster Kirkley to all his family and friends. He served in the U. S. Navy for 4 years with an honorable discharge. Following shortly with employment at J. O. Smith towing and continuing throughout his years with different towing companies. He ended his career with Magnolia Marine as Master Captain retiring with illness at 62. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. James was a very good man hardworking and fun loving who loved his family very much. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on February 28 2026…
