Brenda Rogers Duerson, 69, of Richmond died Monday, February 2, 2026, at her residence. She was born March 12, 1956, in Berea, Ky., daughter of the late Daniel Smith Rogers and Emma Jean Combs Abrams. Brenda was of the Christian faith, enjoyed vintage and modern thread and buttons, decorating and crafting in her spare time. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and enjoyed her career as a Private Duty Nurse.Survivors include her sons Nathan Leonesio (Leah), Daniel Duerson; sister Kelly Rogers Prewitt; grandchildren Logan Leonesio, Sophia Leonesio; dear friends Debra Jane Duerson, Yvonne Crabtree; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Doug Earl Duerson.Memorial Service 3:00 PM Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Reppert Funeral Home. Bonnie Jones Whitaker, 69, of Brodhead died Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital. She was a Berea native born June 20, 1956, daughter of the late Wilburn and Nancy Cruse Jones. Bonnie was a hard worker who loved her family dearly, she had a kind heart and was always willing to help someone in need. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and watching the weather.Survivors include her daughters Vanessa Shannon Bullock (David), Stacey Halstead (Swan); sisters Corena Azbill, China Holman; sister-in-law Velma Miller, grandchildren Bailey Bullock, Davany Bullock, Zane Bullock, Chasity Ward (Justin), Caitlyn Winslett (Ethan), Tyler Griffith.
