Charles Vernon Roberts of Hendersonville Tennessee was a man of steady service deep community pride and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. He was born on February 25 1950 and lived a life marked by professionalism faith and leadership. Charles was the beloved son of Ray Roberts and Amanda Cook. He was preceded in death by his brothers Jimmy Lee Darden and Jessie Leonard Roberts. Charles dedicated 34 years of service to the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service NRCS building a career grounded in stewardship and public service. Over the years he served in numerous roles including Student Trainee Soil Conservationist District Conservationist IRM Coordinator Area Resource Conservationist Area Conservationist and Assistant State Conservationist.
