David Rebel Smith 66 of Fourmile KY was born January 22 1960 in Harlan County and passed away Wednesday February 11 2026. Rebel was a retired truck driver the owner of Davids Auto Detailing and believed in the Holiness faith. He is preceded in death by his father Dewayne Smith his brothers Doyle Smith Ted Smith and Timothy Smith his sisters Judy Smith and Lisa Smith. Survivors include his loving wife Libby Huff Smith his mother Joyce Ann Smith. His children Janessa Smith Derick Smith and Jennifer Skidmore his grandchildren Hannah Wagoner Shawna Smith David Derick Smith Breanna Smith Kaily Smith Kenzie Shepherd and Lincoln Patrick also his special friend Billy Wayne Hensley and several nieces nephews relatives and friends also survive. Barbara Pruitt 74 of St. Augustine Florida entered peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior at the Bailey Family Center for Caring. A devoted follower of Christ Barbaras faith was the foundation of her life. A breast cancer survivor she faced every challenge with courage and grace trusting fully in the Lord. Even when her illness returned this past year she held steadfast to Gods promises looking forward with peace and hope to her heavenly home. Her life reflected the light of Christ in kindness humility and steadfast love. Though her family grieves deeply they find comfort in knowing she is healed and whole resting in the arms of Jesus. Barbara was born in Harlan Kentucky and raised in Evarts Kentucky. In 1971 she married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life Gordon Pruitt. Walter Walt Lawrence Wynn Sr. 55 of Jonesville Virginia formerly of Jones Creek departed this life on Wednesday February 11 2026 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport. Born May 17 1970 Walt had lived here until moving to Virginia four years ago. He was a retired coal miner with 28 years of experience at various mines in Harlan County. Walt enjoyed cooking coon hunting working with heavy equipment and sitting on his porch but he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter Wynn and Betty Jo Napier Wynn three brothers Timothy Jason and Scottie Buck Wynn his fatherinlaw and motherinlaw the Reverend George and Sharol Pace and a brotherinlaw Preston Stewart.
