Alice Susie Begay, 83 of Arkansas City died Monday, February 9, 2026 at her residence.Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM , Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home in Arkansas City Interment will follow in the Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery in Winfield. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.Alice was born April 28, 1942 to Vernon Dohaltahe and Faye (Theodore) in Tocito, NM. She married Raymond Begay on July 27, 1972 in Tocito, NM and the couple moved to Arkansas City. Terri (McGowan) Pressnall, 64, of Arkansas City, Kansas, passed away Feb. 11, 2026, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with glioblastoma.Terri was born July 6, 1961, in Arkansas City to Ed and Millie McGowan. She graduated from Arkansas City High School and earned a degree in business administration from Southwestern College in 1983.She married Lon Pressnall on June 18, 1983, at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, family, and love in Arkansas City, where they raised their daughter, Alisha.Terri was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her grandson, Reid, brought her endless joy.
