Joseph D. Joe Stackhouse age 53 of Lone Tree died Sunday February 8 2026 at the University of Iowa Hospitals Clinics in Iowa City. Joseph Dean Stackhouse was born August 20 1972 in Abington Pennsylvania the son of A. Joseph and Charlene D. Stumpf Stackhouse. The family moved to the Iowa City area in 1994. Here Joe worked a number of jobs but mostly in the transportation industry. Joe enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing liked watching NASCAR and the WWE. His family includes his father and stepmother Joe and Janice Stackhouse sisters Diane Sanders Tim and Susan Koberle Dustin nieces and nephews Kayla and Logan Rechkemmer and Addison and Wyatt Sanders. Joe was preceded in death by his mother Charlene.

Edward A. Ed Kasper age 73 of Oxford died Thursday February 12 2026 at the Downtown Campus of UIHC in Iowa City. Funeral Services will be held at 10am Wednesday February 18 2026 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Oxford with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Oxford. Visitation will be from 4 to 7pm Tuesday at the church.

Michael T. Bogs age 63 lifetime resident of Iowa City died Friday February 6 2026 at the Downtown Campus of the UIHC in Iowa City. Michael Todd Bogs was born December 28 1962 in Iowa City the son of Albert and Lorraine Westfall Bogs. Attending schools in Iowa City Mike graduated with the Class of 1981 from City High School. Following high school Mike got a job at the Iowa Department of Corrections working there for a number of years. Mike continued as a huge fan of his City High School the Iowa Hawkeyes and the St. Louis Cardinals. His family includes his brother Tim Bogs and his wife Mary seven nieces and nephews Amy Kathy Paul Scott Katie Tina and Alicia.
