Ellen Soles Goslin 95 passed away January 18 2026 in Emmett Idaho her hometown for over 70 years. Born January 4 1931 to William and Dotti McCloughan Soles in Millboro South Dakota Ellen worked hard as a child on a farm in Tripp County S.D. doing everything from tending animals to planting crops. She grew up in a large family her siblings were Johnny Velma Bud Frank Nelly Harold Ines George twin sister Helen Pearl Lewis and Ann. Ellen graduated from high school in Colome South Dakota then worked at the telephone company there as a switch board operator. She married Marion A. Goslin in Millboro S.D. on November 28 1952 after he returned from serving in the US Army in Korea. Dennis F. Garner Sr. age 79 of Birch Run Michigan formerly of Emmett Idaho passed away February 11 2026 at home with his wife and family by his side. Born January 2 1947 to JR and Mary Ann Lockner Garner in Ontario Oregon. Dennis retired after 40 years in the HVAC industry most of those years were spent at AH Heating. Surviving are wife Sandra sons Andrew Garner and granddaughters Zoey and Lexi Dustin Pettit and wife Michelle grandson Justin Pettit granddaughter Carleigh Joey Reo Dennis Garner Jr. and grandsons Alexander Dallas and Trey great granddaughter Spencer Crump sister Sonja Jeff Heaton brother Victor Garner numerous aunts uncles nieces nephews and cousins and special InLaws George and Belle Prough.
