He opened ShoreTransmission in Ocean Grove NJ in1969which he owned andoperatedfor 25 years.Gene moved to Florida where he owned and operated Genes Transmissions for 10 years.Heenjoyed riding his Harley and going to Bike Week in DaytonaBeach.He was a World War II model war plane enthusiast and enjoyed travellingespeciallytoLas Vegas.
