Russell Lee Back, age 58, of Mondovi, Wisconsin, unexpectedly lost his life in a semi-truck accident on February 7, 2026.Russell was born on December 29, 1967, in Hartford, Wisconsin, the son of Robert and Anita (née Tjoflat) Back. He grew up in Hustisford, Wisconsin, and graduated from Hustisford High School in 1986.Russell had a strong passion for farming and dedicated much of his life to working the land and raising livestock. In later years, he transitioned to a career in truck driving, which he enjoyed immensely. He took great pride in maintaining his equipment, making modifications, and fine-tuning every detail.In his spare time, Russell enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, cribbage, and playing his tabletop baseball game.He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Charlotte (née Kolve) Back; his children, Allison (Shane) Westphal, Joshua, Grace, and Morgan Back, Erikka, Jazmin, Chloie, and Eli Thomas; and his grandchildren, Wyatt,…
