Alice Ingram of Concord NC by way of West Virginia and New York City passed away Monday February 9 2026 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord. Alice was born August 16 1943 in Charleston West Virginia to parents George Thomas Wiggins and Virginia Tyler who have preceded her in death. Alice grew up in Charleston West Virginia where she was known for her beautiful singing voice. It was there that she met her husband Wilbert Ingram in Kimball West Virginia while he was performing in Charleston as part of a singing group. The two were married in 1965 and began building a life together. Determined to create a better future for their family they made the decision to relocate from West Virginia to New York City in 1968.
