Psalm 234 Walter Leon Morris was called to his eternal Heavenly rest on Thursday afternoon February 5 2026 at the MCVVirginia Commonwealth University Hospital Critical Care Unit in Richmond Virginia surrounded by his caring family. Born on September 9 1937 in New Kent County Virginia Walter was the son of the late Luke Morris and Sarah Crump. He was the third of four siblings. From a young age Walter joined Second Elam Baptist Church and remained a devoted member throughout his life. He served diligently as church treasurer participated on the Usher Board and became a Church Deacon in 1975.
