Norman William Wand, 80, of Portsmouth, Virginia, passed away on February 10, 2026. He was born on August 27, 1945, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late George and Violet Wand.Norman is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Diane Wand; his sister, Debbie; and his brother, Robin. He leaves behind a large and loving family, including his children: Norma White (Kent), Paul Wand (Wendy), Roger Hudspeth, Ty Breland (Susie), Shaun Breland (Tory), and Brandon Breland. He was a proud grandfather to Victoria Newlon (Brandon), Christian White, Lauren Hudspeth, Kaylie O’Dell, Georgia Wand, Brylee Breland, Braxton Breland, Garrett Wand, Ryann Breland, Reese Breland, and Sydney Breland. He also shared a very special and enduring relationship with the boys’ 97-year-old grandfather, Ben Breland.Norman’s professional life reflected his strong work ethic and dedication to service. PORTSMOUTH - Mr. Rufus Perry Outland, age 89, of Portsmouth, VA, met his Lord and Savior on Feb. 7, 2026.
