Born on April 20 1951 in Russellville Alabama Ellis was the son of Elmer Clyde Lang and Ola Mae Mitchell Lang who instilled in him the values of faith family and hard work that shaped his life. He worked for TVA as a Unit Operator. Ellis shared 31 total devoted years of marriage with his wife Deborah Barrett Lang and together they built a life grounded in love resilience and deep commitment to family. He was a proud member of Jasper First Baptist Church where his faith remained a steady foundation throughout his life. A man of adventure and creativity Ellis had a passion for the open road.
