Clyde Randall Young age 67 of Smithville passed away Thursday February 12 2026 at Willow Branch Health in McMinnville. He was a former employee with Griffins Fruit Market. He was born on May 19 1958 in Smithville. He is preceded in death by his parents Lester Roy and Reba Ione Kelly Young. Visitation with the Young family will be on Sunday from 1100 am until service time at 200 pm in the chapel of LoveCantrell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Young Bend Cemetery. Survivors include 2 brothers Gary Christine Young and Larry Young all of Smithville sister Vickey Don Crews of Chattanooga several nieces and nephews also survive.

Melissa Resha Hattaway age 50 of Smithville passed away on Tuesday January 27 2026 at her residence. She was a Baptist and retired postal worker. She was born on June 8 1975 in McMinnville and was preceded in death by her father Mike Ward and grandparents L.C. Lorene Tramel. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 1200 until 700 pm and on Friday from 900 until service time at 1100 am. Bro. Johnathon Willoughby will officiate and burial will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her mother Janice Tramel Ward 2 sons Quentin Cook and Zack Mauriciona Snyder grandson Aiden Cook sister Rena Johnathon Willoughby niece and nephew Lydia Willoughby and Jathan Willoughby special friends Chad Hayes and Gayle Pack.
