Dorothy I. Brown 103 a longtime resident of Equinunk died peacefully on February 11 2026 at her home. Born in Lackawaxen Pennsylvania on June 5 1922 Dorothy was the last surviving child of Mary Mamie Gill and Norman L. Lester. Her husband Willard R. Brown whom she married on September 2 1944 predeceased her on December 23 1997. Dorothy lived a long hardworking and fulfilling life dedicated to her family. Family was of utmost importance to her and she took great joy in having her loved ones close by. She loved her animals and found happiness in caring for her pets and watching the many birds from her window. As a dairy farmers wife Dorothy took pride in her role on the farm demonstrating unwavering strength and resilience in all her endeavors. Michael James Finney 73 of Tanglwood North in Tafton Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at home on Saturday November 1 2025 surrounded by love. He is survived by his devoted spouse Daniel LaCroix with whom he shared a life filled with laughter companionship and deep affection. Born on October 10 1952 in Hagerstown Maryland Michael was the beloved son of the late George and Rosemary Martin Finney. In addition to Daniel he is survived by his sister Marsha Knicley of Hagerstown his niece Jordon Knicley of Hagerstown and his nephew Jason Knicley of Monrovia Maryland along with Jasons wife Erin and their son Nixon. Michaels love of adventure began early in life at The Potomac Fish and Game Club where he spent countless happy days especially enjoying water skiing regattas on the Potomac River.
