Gail G. Pierce age 74 of Evans City formerly of Cranberry Twp. passed away on Wednesday February 11 2026 at AHN Hospital in Wexford. Born in Norfolk Virginia on May 29 1951 she was the daughter of William W. and Norma M. White Granger. Surviving are her daughter Kelly M. Goetz Jared of Evans City her beloved grandchildren Taylor Nicholas and Logan a sister Shirley Wharton a brother William W. Granger III both in Virginia four nephews and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. "Bobby" Pierce who she married on October 22 1977 and who died on September 6 2022. Friends will be received at the McDonaldAeberli Funeral Home Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars PA on Sunday February 15 2026 from 1200 PM. A Service will follow at 200 PM at the funeral home. Mona L. Frole 89 of Silver Spring Maryland formerly of Butler peacefully passed away on Sunday Feb. 8 2026 after a long and courageous battle with dementia. She was born Aug. 19 1936 in Butler and in the early 1960s she moved to the Washington D.C. area where she made her home for more than 60 years. Mona built a dedicated career in the accounting field where she worked for over 50 years until her retirement in 2008. She was known for her strong work ethic quiet kindness and independent spirit. Those who knew Mona will remember her as a gentle and thoughtful woman with a generous heart. Russell L. Big Russ Miller Sr. age 88 of Renfrew passed away the afternoon of Wednesday February 4 2026 in the comfort of his home with his wife and his son at his side. He served 6 years in the Army National Guard where was known as Bull Moose. He then was a dedicated masonry laborer in the Butler area and retired with over 50 years from Butler Local 323. Russ was a lifetime member of the East Butler Firemans Club where he was known as Whistler. Russ is survived by his wife of 61 years Vi Hoffman Miller whom he married on August 15 1964 and his son Russell Rusty Miller Jr. of Chicora. Donald James Briner age 65 of Boardman Ohio formerly of Butler Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly Tuesday January 20 2026 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown Ohio. Born June 12 1960 he was the son of Philip M. Briner of California and Mary Jane Heller Lang of Portersville. He was a 1979 graduate of Butler Area High School and he was employed at Ron Joy Nursing Home in Boardman Ohio for 24 years. He was also employed at Masters Security Services and was a bartender as The Pastime Bar for nearly 25 years where he made many friends.
