David William Laverick, Sr, 69, of Waverly, Ohio passed 9:31 a.m., Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Adena Pike Medical Center, Waverly, Ohio.David was born April 30, 1956, in Middlesborough, United Kingdom, the son of the late William Laverick, and Agnes (Buchanan) Laverick. On February 22, 1975, he was united in marriage to Janet (Burns) Laverick, who preceded him in death on August 4, 2023.He is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Chris) Vernon of Circleville, and Emma Laverick of Chillicothe; his son, David (Julia) Laverick, Jr of Waverly; five grandchildren Anastacia, Kelsey, Alexis, Kris, and Kylie; and a great grand-daughter Delilah.David was a Director of Operations in cabinetry at Mills Pride, Waverly, OhioDave was a selfless, hardworking man with a great sense of humor. Russell Dale “Mike” McFarland, 95, of Waverly, Ohio passed 11:08 p.m., Monday, February 9, 2026, at his home.Russell was born September 3, 1930, in Piketon, Ohio, the son of the late Jesse J. McFarland, and Helena Eleanor (Borden) McFarland. On August 27, 1948, he was united in marriage to Norma Jean (Edington) McFarland, who preceded him in death. She was born April 27 1944 in Paintsville Kentucky a daughter of the late Henry Taylor Bud Francis and Dollie Wicker Francis. Survivors include Eric April Montgomery grandchildren Logan Bailey Montgomery and Evan and Ethan Montgomery greatgranddaughter Carli Montgomery and numerous nieces and nephews. Pearl was preceded in death by her first husband Emery Gene Montgomery her parents Bud and Dollie Francis brothers and sisters Annie Bolen Leo Francis Hazel Hodge Paul B.
