Mikilynn Miki Cook age 68 of Mingo Junction passed away peacefully on February 8 2026 surrounded by love after a long battle with lymphoma. Miki was born on June 11 1957 in Steubenville Ohio. Miki was a devoted mother and a proud grandmother whose life centered entirely on her family. She is survived by her loving daughter Jamie McGinnis her soninlaw Ben McGinnis her cherished grandchildrenLiam Luca Lochlan Piper and Carmenwho were the absolute joy of her life. Nothing brought her more happiness than time spent with them hearing about their days and watching them grow. She went to their games and dance performances whenever she could and was always their biggest fancheering the loudest celebrating every accomplishment and supporting them with boundless pride and love. It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jamie L. Huyghe aged 47 who departed this life at his residence on Tuesday February 10 2026. Jamie was the beloved son of Terry Peggy Huyghe and brother of Amber Huyghe of Angleton Texas and Ashlee Huyghe of Weirton. A graduate of Edison High School Jamie showcased his musical talents as a drummer in the high school band. His cherished pastimes included attending Edisons football games often accompanied by his friend Nick or his father Terry while also supporting The Ohio State football team. In death Jamie is preceded by his mother Cynthia Huyghe Moehrig stepfather John Moehrig and his grandparents Eugene and Margaret Huyghe and Donald and Elizabeth Nicholson. Throughout his career Jamie worked for several years at Steubenville Pizza Hut and later at the Pizza Hut location in Angleton Texas before returning to the Steubenville area…

Glen J. Pettit 76 of Bridgeport passed away Wednesday February 11 2026 at Rolling Hills Nursing Home surrounded by his family. He was born April 14 1949 in Glen Dale WV the son of the late Carl W. and Alice Mae Jones Pettit. Glen was retired and proudly severed his country in the United States Army where he held the rank of Lieutenant. It was in the service where he forged lifelong friendships and developed a strong sense of duty and service. Left to cherish his memory are his longtime life partner Ruth Garrison brother Carl W. Pettit and nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes all services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. He will be laid to rest at Halcyon Hills Cemetery next to his parents. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home Brookside 920 National Rd. Bridgeport OH 43912.
