Lester W. Bowman 82 of Findlay passed away at 857pm on Monday February 9 2026 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. Les was born March 31 1943 in Clyde Ohio to the late Charles E. and Lois A. Peffley Bowman. He is survived by his son Robb A. Bowman of Findlay his daughter Betsy A. Mark Walton of Fostoria Ohio a brother Ken Bowman also of Findlay three grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Les was preceded in death by his sister Janet Speelman. After high school graduation Les worked for the YMCA of Findlay for several years. He then became the assistant groundskeeper at Hillcrest Golf Course where he remained until his retirement. An avid fan and coach for many years softball was his passion including coaching Womens Softball at Ohio Northern University. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Lester W.
