He is survived by his loving wife Sharon Elderbaum brotherinlaw William Linda of Clayton sisterinlaw Marie of Cary and several cousins. George loved gardening cooking and interior design. He was especially interested in genealogy. A Memorial Service will be held at 1100 am on Saturday February 14 2026 at the Greenwood Cemetery of Dunn.
