He was born in Johnston County on September 13, 1938 to the late Willie Penny Brown and Ida Mae Hicks Brown. He is also preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth Brown and Roy Brown; grandson, Justin Mylott.Harold worked in accounting for 60+ years and retired at the age of 84.Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Becky Brown; daughter, Susan Mylott; son in law, Frankie; granddaughter, Marisa Mylott; sister, Brenda Batten.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Maplewood Cemetery in Durham, officiated by Pastor Charlie McNeill.Flowers are welcome or a memorial donation can be made to the charity of your choice.The family is being assisted by Clements Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. in Durham. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Walter Perry Watson.Mrs. Watson is survived by her sister, Nancy Watson Honeycutt, and her three nephews Tommy (Susan) Baker, Craig (Janice) Watson, and Wally (Leigh) Watson; Pam (Keith) Franco.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on March 5, 2026 at The Chapel at Murdoch Center in Butner, NC. She was born in Durham on August 27, 1946, to the late Colon Edward Overaker and Edna Browning Overaker. She is also predeceased by her husband, Larry Ray Thomas Sr. and her son, Larry Thomas Jr.Nancy worked as the executive housekeeper at Governor’s Inn for 25 years.Mrs. Thomas is survived by her daughter, Sandra Thomas Weddle and her husband, Jack. She is also survived by her grand dog, Katie Ann.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, officiated by Rev. Ed Denton.
