Burnie McQueen Jr. BJ transitioned into the presence of the Lord on Friday February 6 2026 at home surrounded by the love Burnie was born on June 26 1934 to Burnie McQueen Sr. and Isabelle Steele McQueen both of whom preceded him in death. Burnies Band of Brothers and alums of North Carolina AT State University included the Honorable Ed Towns Thomas Mr. Their bond more than 65 years strong was built on abiding loyalty genuine friendship and chosen family. Together these men crisscrossed the country North South East and West making their marks and representing their beloved alma mater with integrity and AGGIE PRIDE. He was a dedicated member of the D.C. Aggie Alumni Chapter never missing an AT Homecoming from his days on the gridiron until 2020 and subsequent years due to health challenges.
