Nola Green Olive age 95 passed away Wednesday February 11 2026 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born September 10 1930 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late Elton Young and Bertha Parrish Green. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard F. Olive sons James Eli Olive Sam Olive Julian Olive and Richard Jody Olive Jr. daughter Bertha Mae Olive brothers James Green Alonza Green and Elton Green Jr. sister Annie Barbour Robert and greatgrandchild Richard. Nola was a proud Republican and a faithful member of the Primitive Baptist Church. She was an avid sports fan especially when it came to high school basketball. She deeply loved her family stood up for the underdog and was actively involved in the rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities.
