Genell Yvonne Kilpatrick 85 of Hendersonville NC went home to be with the Lord on February 7 2026. Born on August 3 1940 in Henderson County she was the beloved daughter of the late Abert and Bessie Mize Justice. Genell attended Flat Rock High School and remained deeply rooted in the community she loved all her life. Genell will be remembered for her generous heart and unwavering love for her family. Nothing brought her more joy than time spent with those she loved. She enjoyed country music browsing auctions and yard sales and cheering on her Atlanta Braves. The beach was her happy placea place where she felt peace and contentment. Her home was a gathering place and her door was always open.
