He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Floyd and Frances Holmes paternal grandparents Jonathan and Carol Ruiter stepfather Gordon Freeman aunt Faye Mainhart and cousin Jessica DeFries. Jefferson "Jeffery" Bass

Jefferson Jeffery Bass age 44 went Home to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday afternoon February 11 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Nash County on September 10 1981. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Horace Jefferson and Peggy Jefferson Hill paternal grandparents Bobby and Bette Bass grandparentsinlaw William Clyde and Linda Rebecca Pridgen and uncle Roddy Bass. Jeffery was a devoted member of Momeyer Baptist Church. He loved his church and serving his Lord. Jeffery graduated from Southern Nash High School. He enjoyed playing soccer and running track. He loved his family Momeyer NC State Wolfpack and the Carolina Panthers. He loved being outdoors especially hiking skiing riding his bike and 4wheeler.
