Born on February 14 1954 in Binghamton NY Thomas was the beloved son of Antonia Kabanek and Harold Thomas. He built a long and respected career in Human Resources working for companies including Schlegel Corporation Motts and NRG Energy. Throughout his professional life he was admired for his strong work ethic integrity and genuine care for the people he worked alongside. Above all else Thomas was a devoted and deeply proud father. Nothing brought him greater joy than talking about his children whether with family friends or complete strangers. Sports were a lifelong passion and an essential part of his family life. As his children grew up Thomas was always present coaching teams umpiring baseball games and refereeing basketball games.
