Joseph John Dolobacs 82 of S.Seaside Park passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday February 10 2026. He was a loving husband devoted father and a proud grandfather. Born in Trenton NJ Joseph lived in Hamilton Township before moving to S. Seaside Park 22 years ago. Joseph was a proud graduate of Trenton Central High School class of 1961. He served in The United States Coast Guard and worked for the Princeton University Plasma Physics Laboratory for 46 years. Joseph enjoyed the outdoors he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He could often be seen at the North jetty of Island Beach State Park catching blues. He was also known to many as "Bucktail Joe" for his handcrafted fishing lures and fishing advice. Born in New Brunswick NJ to his late parents Robert H. and Mary Boyars he was raised in Perth Amboy NJ and was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Known as Radio Bob he moved to Waretown in 1999 and was a life member of the American Legion Post 232 Barnegt NJ. He is survived by his loving sons Scott and his wife Tara Boyars and Robert H. Boyars III and wife Melissa three cherished grandchildren Sean and Abby Boyars and Joel Eisenman and his wife Christy six adored greatgrandchildren.
