George M. Manning, age 88, of Florissant, Missouri, formerly of Herculaneum, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2025, at Kingsland Walk Senior Living in University City, Missouri. He was born April 14, 1937, in Shirley, Missouri, the son of the late Malissa Ann (nee Wells) and Richard Manning.He is survived by his wife Dorothy Lee (nee Harris) Manning; son Michael Allen Manning of Las Vegas, Nevada; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters Dora Mae Anderson, Charlene Townsend, Mary (the late Leroy) Alexander; brothers Robert Manning, Dual Manning, Ben Manning and Alfred (the late Clara) Manning.He served in the U.S. Army and was a retired interior decorator for McDonnel Douglas and Boeing Aircraft.
