A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 3:00 PM atMcDonald Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be at McDonald Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.Gloria Jean was born on March 2nd, 1940, in Tuscson, Arizona. She was preceded in death byher parents, Harold and Mildred Carroll; her brothers, Earl and Nova Carroll; and her belovedson, Mark Hennes.Gloria Jean was a graduate of McNeill High School in McNeill, Mississippi. As a young womanshe and her mother ran a café located on Highway 11 in Carriere, Mississippi. In 1955, GloriaJean met the love of her life, Cecil Leroy Hennes, Jr., at a birthday party in Carriere and fromthere began their 70 year love story.
