Mrs. Marvis L. Carr daughter of the late Jessie Will and Belvin Mallett was born March 8 1947 in Leake County Mississippi. As a young child she became a member of the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. After living in the Northern and Eastern states for many years Marvis and Jim moved back to their home state of Mississippi in 1991. By trade Marvis was a homemaker housewife and worked out her home as a mortgage analyst in the banking industry. In 1973 Marvis united with the Christian Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Kosciusko Mississippi. She was a faithful member until her health began to fail her. She departed this life on Wednesday January 28 2026 at the BaptistAttala Hospital in Kosciusko Mississippi. Her survivors include a loving husband Mr. James Franklin Carr Sr. son James Franklin Carr Jr. Jaimee Two sisters Barbara Ann Johnson and Joyce Harvie L Covington three brothers…
