CHICOPEE Robert J. Lukasik Sr. 80 of Chicopee passed away on Sunday February 8 2026 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. He was born on April 11 1945 in Springfield and was the son of the late Frank and Nellie S. Dunaj Lukasik. Bob attended St. Stanislaus School and graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School in 1964. He played baseball football and was captain of the hockey team. Bob joined the Marine Corp. in 1965 and was stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina Company C 2 Mar Division FMF discharge from Chelsea Naval Hospital in 1967. While on duty with Marine Corp Reserve. Bob went three years for sheet metal layout at Springfield Trade School and two years for business management at Springfield Technical College.
