Suzanne Theresa Batiste (age 76) transitioned to glory on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 11:05 a.m. She was a devoted housewife of 25 years to the late Leonard Briggs. She had a big heart and was dearly loved by her family and friends. She is the daughter of the late Rose Marie Duplessis-Batiste and Jules Batiste.She is survived by her three daughters, Rosalind (Charlie), Tracy (Robert), and Patrice (Andre); two sisters, Gwendolyn (Henry), and Nancy (the late Terry); two aunts, Arnetta Jones and Barbara Duplessis. Also survived by seven grandchildren, Brandon (Derrione), Michael (Tamara), Dalevon (Nicolette), Whitney, Kelsey (Harry), Ronald, and Alaina; seven great-grandchildren, Denem, Milo, Zaiden, Mila, Amira, Blaze, and Milan; three nieces, Jacqueline, Ashley (Mitch), and Toyia (Darrick); and three nephews, Gerard, Terrence (Asia), and Anthony.
