He was a retired painter and member of Luzerne General Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Betty Baum wife Patty Baum and son Ronnie Young. He is survived by his sons Johnnie Faye Garrett Marty Helen Garrett Shane Jenny Garrett and William Young twelve grandchildren and twenty greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday February 14 2026 at 1100AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Kerry Vincent officiating. Burial in Olive Grove Cemetery. POWDERLY Jewell Victory Vickie LeGrand of Powderly passed away on February 11 2026 at the age of 82 at Sayre Christian Village in Lexington Kentucky. He was Born on August 19 1943 in Muhlenberg County. He graduated Drakesboro High School in 1962. He enlisted in the United States Army and served from 1962 to 1965. He married Linda Lile on July 30 1966. Together they were married for more than 59 years. Jewell had many jobs throughout his life automotive assembly line worker coal miner truck driver but most importantly pastor and preacher. He was pastor to several churches in both Muhlenberg and Ohio counties. He was a member of Mercer Baptist Church.
