He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. His life was centered on his family, hard work, faith, and service to his community. Through his dedication and entrepreneurial spirit, he built not only successful businesses but also lasting relationships with the people he served and worked alongside.Charlie began his career as a bread deliveryman, where he met the love of his life, Wilma. The two built a beautiful life together, sharing 56 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and family. An opportunity later brought Charlie to Benton, where he opened and operated the local restaurant many will remember as Burger Queen, later becoming Druther’s, and eventually Dairy Queen.…
