Petra Diaz Lopez, 87, of Radcliff, KY, died Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at her home.She is survived by her son, Elfren (Esperanza) Padilla of Radcliff, KY; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.The Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Radcliff.

Ernestine (Atwell) Amos, 101 years old, of Vine Grove, Kentucky passed away peacefully in her home on February 12, 2026.She was born in Hart County, September 27th, 1924 and moved to Barren County, near Glasgow, Kentucky in 1934. She graduated as Valedictorian from Temple Hill High School, Glasgow, KY May 1941 and later attended the University of Kentucky Center at Fort Knox. She retired January 31, 1987, with 34 and ½ years as the supervisor/test administrator at the testing section, Army Education Center, Fort Knox. Later Ernestine was a tax preparer, 9 seasons, for H&R Block in Orlando, FL.Ernestine became a Christian in 1936, joined Joyners Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Hart County, where all her family belonged. Most of them were charter members of the church.Orlando Amos and Ernestine were married August 2nd, 1941 in his hometown of Anniston, AL.
