Josephine Immacolata Del Grosso DAgostino 87 of Rising Sun Indiana formerly of Italy passed away peacefully Tuesday February 10 2026 in the presence and comfort of her family and loved ones at Shady Nook Care Center in Lawrenceburg Indiana where she had been receiving care for the last few years. Josephine was born on November 29 1938 in Comune di Baselice Italy a daughter of the late Leonardo Del Grosso and Angelamaria Ferro. Josephines childhood was filled with the beauty and simplicity of life in the rural countryside. Josephine shared her passion for her roots with her husband and children with the family returning yearly to Italy after moving to the United States. Faith was also entrusted and engrained early on in Josephines life.
