82 of Delphi died Wednesday February 11 2026. He was born November 25 1943 in Logansport to the late Clay Pauline Day Shoemaker. He married Phyllis J. Shives Shoemaker April 12 1964 in Camden she preceded him in death January 23 2008. Shorty was a 1962 graduate of Camden High School. He had worked as an ironworker with the Ironworkers Union Local 22 retired after 33 years with The Andersons in Delphi. He attended Grace Baptist Church Kokomo. Shorty enjoyed fishing hunting gardening. Shorty is survived by his two daughters Pam J. Garrison Stacy L. Darin Claxton four grandchildren Kerisa Fuller Keaton Julia Garrison Makayla Michael Russell Jama Claxton four greatgrandchildren Easton Callan Fuller Nora Garrison Brooklyn Wolfe two sisters Iva Pennycuff Fran Nance.
