Jim Olson age 79 passed away at 737 a.m. on Wednesday February 112026 at his home surrounded by his family after a long brave battle with cancer. He was born on March 311946 in Macomb Ill the son of James and Helen Duncan Olson. He first married Vicky Coplan and they had two children Terri Scott Dawson and Debi Steve Bryant. He later married. Wendy Sights and they had one child Dillon Olson. Jim has four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters Judy Woodside and Janet Rodger Thompson. Jim graduated from Macomb High School in 1964 and has lived in Blandinsville for 31 years. Jim was very proud of his military service and served in the US Army from 1965 until 1967.
