Barry Wayne Lau age 67 passed away peacefully on February 8 2026. He was born on January 8 1959 in Soda Springs Idaho to Kay and Dorothy Lau. Barry was the third of five children. He was raised with his siblings Sharon Doug Jana and Diann. Barry graduated from Soda Springs High School in 1977. Not long after while cruising MainStreet in Preston Idaho with his older brother Doug Barry met the love of his life Lanett. Theirconnection was immediate and deep. They became engaged during Lanetts senior year of highschool and were married just six weeks after her graduation on July 14 1979. On October 141995 Barry and Lanett were sealed as a family forever in the Logan Utah Temple of TheChurch of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints a day the family fondly called their Family ForeverDay.
